Dr. Trent Orfanos is Director of Integrative and Functional Cardiology at Case Integrative Health in Chicago. 

He practiced invasive, interventional, and preventative cardiology for nearly four decades, and in 2010 began applying functional medicine principles to his patients' care. The results were striking: people who had been deteriorating under conventional treatment alone began to flourish. 

Dr. Orfanos earned his medical degree from Indiana University and completed his cardiology fellowship under Edward Steinmetz, MD. He holds five board certifications and is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine.
