Holiday Healing with a Metabolic Boost!

Updated: Nov 14, 2022

The Case Integrative Health Metabolic Boost Program

New Year, New You- at least, that’s what we tell ourselves. Unfortunately, the reality of sticking to and achieving our hard-set health and weight loss resolutions can be much more difficult. This can be made even trickier following weeks of holiday indulgences, cookies, and sweets filled with processed sugars and complex carbohydrates. Luckily, there is plenty you can do to give your metabolism a boost, help your body detox post-holiday, and hit the ground running to your 2022 health goals.

If you’ve found yourself slowly accumulating some extra weight throughout the pandemic (and perhaps the years prior)- you are not alone! The diet industry is a massive and multi-billion dollar business in the United States, constantly promoting the latest exercise regime and diet protocol. So, why do Americans continue to gain weight throughout the years? Unfortunately, in this day and age, weight loss is often not as simple as “eating right and moving more”.

At Case Integrative Health we attribute excess weight as a symptom, not the disease- there is a medical problem and that requires a medical solution! Often that “problem” lies in the individual’s own metabolism and this is where Case Integrative Health’s Metabolic Boost program comes in. Our program starts with a medical consult to isolate the underlying issues for metabolic dysfunction, then we design an intervention to help heal the gut, rebalance hormones, reset the central nervous system’s response to calories, and jump-start mitochondrial function across the body. Essentially, your metabolism is as individual as you are- so you need a treatment protocol designed for YOU.

Before we can truly dive into our Metabolic Boost Program, we must first understand what metabolism is. Your metabolism is an incredibly complex set of processes that turn food and drink into your body’s raw materials that it needs to complete its daily functions. It delivers these materials to the target cells and then eliminates them as waste. The amino acids, nucleic acids, lipids (aka fats), and carbohydrates extracted from what you eat and drink make everything in your body work. Your metabolism builds muscles and brain cells, repairs organs, provides materials for immune systems to fight infections, and essentially everything else in between.

Essentially, everything that you consume is converted into energy for your cells, stored as fat, or eliminated as waste. When your metabolism is working optimally, these processes will happen smoothly. However, what happens when you aren’t giving your metabolism the right fuel, or it’s just generally working poorly? For most, your metabolism will begin converting fuel to fat at too high a rate- leading to weight gain.

So, is there anything that can be done? A resounding YES is our answer! If you’ve been struggling with diet and exercise alone- it might be time for a boost! We’ll dig deeper, and develop a medical plan to help you feel better and look better from the inside out. Essentially, once we know why your metabolism isn’t functioning as well as it could, we know what to do about it.

The Metabolic Boost program consists of:

  • Deep dive consultation with one of our medical staff

  • Comprehensive testing and lab work

  • A customized treatment plan that will likely include:

  1. Diet and supplement recommendations based on the clinical visit and lab work

  2. Exercise and stress management recommendations

  3. At-home peptide therapy

  4. In-clinic IV protocol OR at-home regimen of shots

  5. Medical and health coaching along the way to help you stay on track

We have found that this combination is able to jumpstart even the trickiest metabolism- allowing your body to heal from the holidays and hit the ground running with your New Years Health Resolutions. If there is one thing the pandemic has shown us, it is that the importance of preventative healthcare is greater than ever. Make 2022 your healthiest year yet!
